I’ve tried multiple HomeKit resets on the lock, and even succeeded in getting it displayed within the Home app, but nothing I do will get it to work within the Apple Home app. The new lock on my front door has mostly worked as expected, including within HomeKit and using Siri, but the second identical new lock on my garage door just six feet away simply will NOT work within HomeKit. I’ve replaced both my older August locks this year with August’s latest WiFi model, to get away from the separate WiFi bridge solution, which was always a bit kludgy. However, HomeKit integration has always been problematic, and the problem continues with August’s newest WiFi Smart Lock. I’ve used August locks for years, and liked them.
